the students can be consoled in that their sacrifice is going to a good (liberal, albeit misguided) cause.

Well any government saving can "fund" anything the government does, including tax cuts, can't it? So it would be equally valid to say the cuts "fund" rich people's mansions, welfare benefits, the army, etc. etc.

Why do you continue this self-deprecation of citing the Telegraph?

if i recall the Telegraph actually has warmists on staff counterbalancing the anti-warmists, can the Guardian or the Beeb say the same?

I don't think most journalists are qualified to have an opinion on "warmism".

The Telegraph is political, the Guardian also, they all have paymasters hence they have a 'stance'..if a paper employs such a 'warmist overviewer' then one must view cautiously and draw conclusion based upon the initial comment. I rather believe that if a paper employs such, but with the intention of putting their view forward, come what may, then they'll go to great efforts to stress their neutral stance. Is this the case ?? The BBC is wholly different, they have all manner of official lines to uphold, one being there are independant ombudsman to satisfy with every transmission made..
